The Banwood Balance Bike — Sage is the bike that taught a generation of kids to ride. With no pedals to confuse small minds and no training wheels to take off, our balance bike teaches the one skill that matters: balance. The skill that turns into riding, naturally, when they're ready.

Hand-built in Denmark with a powder-coated steel frame, leather saddle, leather grips, and our signature wicker basket, every detail is considered. The geometry is designed by ex-pro cyclists for kids aged 2.5-5 years — low enough that little feet always touch the ground, light enough that they can pick it up themselves, and built strong enough to be passed down to a younger sibling.

We have a 10-day return policy, which means you have 10 days after receiving your item to request a return.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.
